IAN HERAN has been designing quality homes for over 30 years. He began his career in civil engineering, later designing homes for his father who started in the building industry in Brisbane in 1952.
He continued to design for his brothers, six of whom are registered builders. He learnt to design cost-effective production houses, as well as homes with individual flair and imagination.
Each IAN HERAN design is tailored to suit clients specific needs. Over the last 20 years he has designed homes for country blocks, canal sites,small city lots, renovations, commercial and multi-residential.

As part of the design process, Ian will visit your allotment and listen to your needs and wants, putting together a design based on your brief.
IAN can arrange for you to have a black & white perspective drawing to help visualise your project or a colour illustration. If you prefer, an acrylic model can also be provided. Shown on this site is an extensive renovation for Heritage Wines using recycled material. Also a design for a commercial restaurant, the Tulip House.
IAN is a member of the Building Designers Association of Queensland and of the Australian Architecture Association.
